My parents & I have many fond memories of our time together in St.John’s.
Mom & Dad have always considered your parents one of their dearest friends. Even to this day, after all these years, I hear the name Walt & Maud come up in many conversations.
Your parents were a joy to know and such fun to be with. Their hospitality to us will never be forgotten.
We have beautiful memories and lots of photos of the four of them together;

Condolence: So sorry for your loss Cynthia, Glenn and family. Your Dad and your Mom, up to her passing, have been friends with us for 5o years. We were their first tenants at 40 Terra Nova Road for 4 1/2 years. In fact we stayed with them while the apartment was being finished. We camped together, socialized, and bowled together. They have been missed from these activities for a while and will continue to be missed. They were wonderful hosts and wonderful friends. Hugs.
We had many fun times bowling with Elim KingPins. Your Mom and Dad were among the finest hostess and host regardless of the reason for a get together. It might be a Christmas party or a cup of tea after church on Sunday night. They will not be forgotten.
Your Mom was my favourite alto singer to sit next to in the choir, whether we were recording The Old Old Stiory, singing in the Sunday service or a cantata at Easter or Christmas. I'm sure they will be rewarded for all their ministries over the years. They have left quite a legacy! Hugs to all.
