HENDRY, Keith James – It is with broken hearts that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle, Keith James Hendry, 37 years of age. Predeceased by his son Joel; grandmother Jean Clarke; and grandparents Gilbert and Minnie Hendry. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories, the love of his life and best friend Tammy Kinsella Hendry and adored sons, his little man Clark and his little big man Jack. Also left to mourn, parents: Janice and James Hendry; sisters Tania (Trevor) Fraize, Holly (Rowland) Hoddinott and Krista (Jeff) Peddle; grandfather Desmond Clarke; special nieces and nephews Danny, Tiffany, Travis, Thomas, Jarrett, Drew, and Kameron; mother-in-law Bev Edison; brother and sister-in-law Jamie (Ginelle) Jones; Jack’s father and stepmother Rob (Ashley) Kinsella and their daughters Olivia and Lauren; special friends whom he considered brothers Wayne, Michael, Allan and Owen Ralph. Also extended family, colleagues of Goodfellow Inc, Mount Pearl Minor Hockey and Baseball Associations, and a large circle of friends. The Hendry family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Craig Smith, Const. Heather Ellis, the Search and Rescue team and the volunteers in their search efforts to help find Keith.
Keith will be best remembered for his dedication to his family and the passion he brought to coaching his children. He was an avid hunter who loved to be in the woods on his skidoo, and when the seasons changed he was likely to be found on the golf course. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Gower Street United. Interment to follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Keith’s memory to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation in support of the NICU.
