CHAFE, Frederick Gerald - Passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 12, 2019, Fred Chafe, age 65 years. Predeceased by his parents, Cavelle and Fred Chafe; son Jamie; brothers Harrison and David; sister Christine; sister-in-law Carolanne; nephews: Rod and Troy. Left to mourn, girlfriend Barbara King; son and best friend, Ronnie (Kim) Chafe and son Freddie (Cindy) Chafe; brothers: Bobby (Marie), Derrick (Jean), Reg (Ann); sister Daphne (Austin) Chalk; grandchildren: Katelyn, Jayden, Joey, Jamie, Hailey, Brook and Savannah; along with a large circle of cousins, nephews, nieces, family and friends, including co-workers with Deacon Investments especially Dean and Terry McDonald. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. B. King and staff at St. Clare’s 6 Floor East. Visitation at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 10am-2pm, followed by a funeral service in Barrett’s Chapel at 2:00pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Fred’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
