The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard "Rick" Barrett can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I would like to express my condolences to Rick's family. I knew Rick from the time that he lived next to Bowring park. Those early years were quite memorable.
It is with sadness that I read about Rick's passing. It is with hope that I remember the verse that what is lost ,one day will be found again.

Condolence: Richard and Elizabeth,

Our family in Calgary (Aunt Jean and cousins Shirley, Wendy, Vicki, and Randy) were sad to here that Ricky had passed away on his birthday. He has gone to be with our Lord and Savior and his family that went before him. For this, we are grateful. I, for one, will miss our telephone conversations and Ricky's humor. He said to me last, that he was on frequent flyer miles at the hospital and if he showed up again, they were going to hand him a bullet! He was so funny. I will miss him. Love to all who are mourning. Cousin Shirley

Condolence: Not only was Rick a close friend but was like a parent to me. He taught me many life lessons over the years, providing advice when needed and was always there for me. I had much respect for Rick and was grateful for our friendship. I will miss our Saturday morning visits with Maggie. Condolences to all Rick's family and friends. RIP my friend.
