Marion and I are indeed saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved mother and our long time friend, Helen. Not only do we have happy memories of our times together during our time at Good Shepherd, but we also have many memories of years gone by when you lived on Tunis Court. Your mother was an honourable, loving and faithful lady, and we are thankful for the privilege to know her. We are so thankful for her wisdom, her life and witness. We are thinking about you during this sad time. Even though she lived a long and productive life, death is always hard to accept. But in death comes new life, and so we can be thankful that she is now in the nearer presence of God where all of us will meet in eternity. May she rest in peace, and may God bless you all with strength and thanksgiving as you prepare to celebrate her life at the funeral liturgy in her beloved church on Monday. Our thoughts and prayers are with.
