Passed suddenly but peacefully away into the presence of his Lord on June 13, 2017 at St. Luke’s Home, Harvey Lynch in his 90th year.
Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 61 years Phyllis (Pelley), daughters: Susan (Eric Gill), Cathy (Gary Tarrant), June (Paul March), Heidi (Vince Giraldi). Grandchildren: Nicola (Stephen Marisette), Nathan, Philip (Claire Moore-Gibbons), Erika (Brad Coombs), Rachel, Olivia, Matteo. Five great-grandchildren: Micah, Isaac & Levi Marisette, Kai and Marcie Coombs. Also leaving to mourn: two sisters Margaret Warren (Winston-deceased), Scarborough, ON, Emma (Ross King), Newmarket, ON, one brother Cron Lynch (Louise), Carbonear. In-laws: Vera and Hez Hewitt, Ruby and Henry Hancock, Dorothy and Harold Roberts and other extended family and many friends.
Predeceased by nine brothers and five sisters.
Special thanks to the staff of St. Luke’s, especially Fairhaven for their excellent care over the past four years. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Friday, June 16 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00am, with interment to follow. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Harvey’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
