Gaius and Linda Goff
Dear Phyllis and family,
At this difficult time of loss, we want to send our sincerest sympathy to you all. We have the wonderful hope that it is only for a little while, and we will be re-united to be forever with the Lord. What a glorious prospect!
We have very fond memories of dear Harvey over many years, but what stands out very clearly is that he was a happy man. Whenever we visited, especially in later years, it was so evident that he had the joy of the Lord in his heart. It seemed apparent that he was aware of the Lord's presence being in the room with him. His conversation was about the Lord, His people, His work, and His coming. During our visits told us of the different opportunities he had to share the good news of the gospel where he was living. He was faithful in his witness.
We also are very thankful that he was a man of prayer, and will now miss the prayers of our dear brother. He has finished what the Lord put in his hands to do, and is now "at home" with His Lord and Saviour. We thank the Lord for the memory of our dear brother.
May you all find comfort and peace from the Lord, through the scriptures and the Lord's people.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Ps. 116:15
